Zen Cart Landing Page

I am new to ZC and have a question.

My current shopping cart environment allows me to create individual landing pages that are not part of the Web site store. I use these pages for my Pay Per Click campaigns where I want to direct a customer to a checkout page that is designed to focus on just the product line that is advertised in the PPC advert.

The page does have a link to the index page of my store but it is not as prominent as the text and buttons for the products. I do this so as to reduce the number of navigation clicks that a customer is required to make to complete the transactions.

This might mean having a layout for these landing pages that is different than the layout for the store pages. How would I go about creating this?

I think you can do this with the EZ Pages. I am not that familiar with EZ Pages. I do not use them but it sounds very doable.

If these are pages that are not part of your cart but when clicked send you to the cart then you can replace the index page reference with the product info page similar to:

Main opening page:

h t t p://www.your_cart_site.com/

Replace with:

h t t p://www.your_cart_site.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_4&products_id=1

Where the above is the address to the actual product (remove any &zenid session info if it is present)
