How to I control whats in the New Products Pane?

Hi,

How do I control what products are displayed in the "New Products for February" pane?

Every month, there are products displayed that have been in my catalog for 4 to 6 months. I presume there is an admin setting somewhere, but I'm unable to find it. :-(

I tried this also, but changing from "0" to "1" for current month, seemed to have no effect whatsoever, is there any other setting you know off that may be overriding this somehow?

EDIT: OK I just read that there is a bug with 1.3.5 which happens to be the version I'm using. Is there a quick fix for this?

Upgrading is the best solution ...

There are several issues in v1.3.5 that you would not want to run a site with that version ...

The current version in our Downloads link at the top of your page is Zen Cart v1.3.7 ... and then add the patch at:

have been thinking about upgrading before (to 1.3.6) but the upgrades seem to come so fast after each other that if I was to try to keep up with all the new versions it would be more trouble than it was worth. The new products box is only a minor issue, and apart from a 1-2 missed paypal IPN returns (hosting probs, not zc i think) everything seems to be working OK....so may stay with 1.3.5, at least till a major release, say 1.4 etc
