once the new site is finished, I'd download a copy of the customized files/folders to my hard drive.
Then I'd make the changes in the appropriate files like font colors and such to customize the next site.
I'd install/upgrade the next site with the current Zen Cart. Then I'd upload the customized files into their proper folders on the new site.
I don't think you can just download the entire 1st site, customize/change for the next site, then upload. I do not think this would set up a database and such.
So I would take the approach of: a complete install and just copy and upload the customized files. This way you are sure to have all the modules working properly.
Someone else may have a better way to do this than what I just described.
