Order Confirmation Email - strange characters

I wonder if anyone can help me with this problem, this is my first post on the forum as everyhing I have wanted to know up to now has been answered by existing posts.

I am sending out Order confirmation Emails in plain text, and am getting a couple of strange characters displaying as follows:

Products
------------------------------------------------------
1 x Item = £15.00

------------------------------------------------------
Sub-Total: £15.00
Flat Rate (Orders under £25): £2.50
Total: £17.50

I would be grateful if someone could tell me how to change this.

Look in the Configuration ... Email Options ...

Convert currencies for Text emails
What currency conversions do you need for Text emails?
Default = £,£:€,€

Looks like your's needs to be reset ...

The Emails are correct now I have changed as you suggested to this:

£,£:€,€
