Default Re: CSS Dropdown menu for your header- With Categories!

    The layout has got

Home | Categories | Information | Contact Us

What if i wanted the menu to feature categories laid out this way

    Category 1 | Category 2 | Category 3 |

    subcategory of 1
    subcategory of 1

So that, the top-level categories are laid out horizontally and are immediately viewable, and when someone hovers over the top-level, then the subcategories are viewable.

And if that's possible, how do i disable items in the menu such as "Information, Contact Us, My Account, Shopping Cart" ?

You originally had "Paul's Edition" installed, which did exactly what you were looking for, all you had to do was add categories.

How do you add categories? Is it done in one of the files that are uploaded or from the admin side?

You add categories and product in the admin, you've already added categories called "Product 1", and "Product 2", and then you've already added two subcategories, called "Product A", and "Product B".

    Hi,

I have used this fab mod, thank you, but have a couple of template issues.

    Here is my install:

    http://emjworkwearshop.co.uk/

As you can see I've tried to add it to the top of the page. This is the layout that I want to acheive:

    http://www.emjworkwear.co.uk

I can't for the life of me work out the css for this, does anyone have any ideas please?

Also as you can see on my install there is a bar shaped section of the body background colour showing just above the dropdown menu. Any ideas on how to stop that happening please?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers
    Claire

Do I have a wrong version?
