Admin login problems

I have set my website up, spent hours working through it last night and now have gone to spend some more time on it this evening.

I have forgotton my admin password! silly me.. anyway, i have tried the resend password and it doesn't send the email... the address is deffinatly correct, and the email address works.

I have gone into phpmyadmin and have set the password to 123 and the username is admin. I have tried these details and they don't work..

any ideas???

Note: you cannot just enter a password it has to be encrypted ...
