reduce fields in create account page

im having some issues with the creation of an account....actually my store isa showcase and i dont use them, but product notifications automatically takes hte user to that page (acct. creation).

i want to remove all the fields except for name and email only.

can someonw out there please tell me where or how to do this?

nope...sorry, tried that.

the issue i have is when someone clicks on ''notify me of product updates''...it takes them into a create account page.

it asks for country- everything actually..

i only want it to ask for name and email.

any ideas?

At this time you only have the full create account. You might be able to adapt one of the Subscription add-ons.

Hi iv managed to get rid of some of the fields on the create account page (iv left the ones i need)

but when they click submit..the error message "PLEASE SELECT YOUR COUNTRY FROM THE DROP DOWN LISt"

Iv deleted the drop down list as i dont need it, but how can i let customers submit the form?

iv made a search i the delevlopers tool kit for the error message..
