I require the same solution: that the image name in the order link directly to the image. Has anyone been able to solve this?
You would need to code the orders.php to add the link ...
Usually the problem is manipulating the file from the link based on file size and FTP is easier for managing it ...
This can be done, but would take a bit of work ...
As many browsers treat different file types in various ways the link would make it more trouble some ...
What is it that you are hoping to accomplish by having a link to an upload file by the customer?![]()

Thank you for your prompt reply to my first post here Linda. As the products are custom printed items I hope to achieve a solution whereby customers upload images with their orders (I've achieved this) and the admin when reviewing the order can simply click the link to download the image from the server.
I accept that FTP is the fine for slightly more tech minded admin staff but I was hoping for something a little more usable.
Could one of the editors perhaps bridge the gap and remove the need for accessing the directory via FTP?
Many thanks for your time.
