    Default Paypal Express WPP problem

    I just installed Zencart 1.3.7 with no apparent problems. I wanted to set it up to work with Paypal WPP, which i why I upgraded.

    However now, when people buy something, they go to paypal & pay & I get the money & notice of payment. However, there's no record of an order in ZenCart & they cannot download their products.

    Have you applied the patches?
    Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

    Yep - I installed all the patches as listed & it still doesn't work. Paypal Express Checkout does not work at all - when that option is chosen, it sends you to a page that says "The transaction is invalid."
    When Paypal IPN is chosen, it takes the customer all the way through the transaction in Paypal - sending & receiving the money - but when they're redirected to the store, there's no order. I have no record of the order in my admin & they cannot download their order.

    Can you go into your PayPal Express Checkout module settings and turn on Debug Log To File, and then make sure the log folder is set to read+write permissions:
    /includes/modules/payment/paypal/logs

    Then attempt an express-checkout transaction. When the "invalid data" error appears, go grab the log files via FTP, zip them up, and post the zip here for analysis.

    The actual cause of the error should be shown in the logs.
