a client of mine had a guy install zencart for them.. everything was setup but the guy could not integrate the theme with their new design so they pulled me into the scenario..
anyways - he got a little mad so i changed the password to prevent any damage (ftp, admin and protected the phpmyadmin)
now all of the sudden the store does not work.
Error performing query ' SELECT book_authors_info FROM zen_book_authors_info WHERE book_authors_id = ' : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1
I called the webserver support and they said they did not do any upgrades for several months. PHP 4 MySQL4
That is my first question is this common?
Also - I am not that familiar with zencart does it use MD5 hashes for db storage? I might need to recreate a hash and store it into the db for admin access (apparently the user did a password reset however the webserver doesnt have a mailserver to send the email out on so nothing was emailed to her). What are your thoughts about this?
Thanks in advance,
Matt
