Categories sidebox gone

Hi there.

I tried to set up my override system tonight. I just wanted to create my custom folders and copy the files that are necessary to keep the look of the classic green template under a new template name (starting customizing from there)

I suceeded almost, however, where my categories box was (and still is under the classic template), its just "white space now"... where is it gone?

ps: I copied the contents of each "classic" folder into my new CUSTOM folder except when they had "empty.txt" in them... do I already have to adjust some code?

Please help a newbie...

I see this - define pages editor_main page - on this page

I assume that if you switch to "classic template that you do not see this.

if this is the case, there is an issue with the files copied to your "JAMEST" template

Might need to reload files to your template

sorry, but this did not help.
What you saw is written within the start page when you set up ZC.
I can edit it and it has nothing to do with my problem...

Which files are responsible for correctly showing the category sidebox?

Looked at this too quick -

in the admin > tools > layout boxes controller > reset the side boxes

When it does not display as it should but does not break/error - editing the files are usually the last thing to consider
