Index page sort order is Random

Yeah after adding a few more products my sort order reverted back to crazy.

This is in the New Products Listing on the main page... Its set to sort my date desc... but that isnt happening.

I don't understand it.

I followed the instructions above and I was able to stop the random display, but the sort order is not the way I want it.

I have the appropriate sort order I want on each product, but for some reason it's displaying differently.

Any thoughts?

You could amend the sql queries in /modules/new_products.php to explicitly sort by products_sort_order
