Zencart & front end

Good day everyone.
I like the way z encart looks and would like to use it for an online store but, the store also is a shop that poeple can come and buy form.
I am wondering if anyone as setup something like this up?
I guess I'm looking for a way that the store front and website use the same database for inventory and trans-actions.

Any advise would be appreciate.

At least a couple of people here have done just that. Search on point of sale or the like to find the discussions.
One involved having a computer in the store logged in to ZC, and the clerk would enter sales there in a "store" account.

I'm gonna try and get it setup this week and test it out.

That is prety much what I'm looking, just a front end to zencart.
anyone know of any others?
