Header Changing Help

Dear all,

I will like to change my header... After reading the FAQ it still doesnt help.

What i have now is a self design 700px by 100 px Header. How do i replace the custom header now?

I had tried going to includes\languages\english
Changing to
define('HEADER_LOGO_WIDTH', '700px');
define('HEADER_LOGO_HEIGHT', '100px');
define('HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE', 'Header Image GIF.gif');

I had added the image to includes\templates\template_default\images

Hi all,

I had manage to insert the backgroup header using CCS.

However, the top left zen logo.gif is still on top of my image. Currently my codes are:
// added defines for header alt and text
define('HEADER_ALT_TEXT', '');
define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT', '');
define('HEADER_LOGO_WIDTH', '700px');
define('HEADER_LOGO_HEIGHT', '100px');
define('HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE', '');

May I know what had happen?
And how do i delete the "SALES MESSAGE GOES HERE", on top of my image too...

The path to your file that you are editing is most likely not the path to the one being used - you should create your own template for this and this is in the FAQ's and wiki but currently you are using the "calssic" template and you might look at /includes/languages/english/classic and see if this is the file that you are editing

Thanks for the reply. However, I still don't quite understand. Please advise more in details. Thanks.

Currently, I am changing files from the classic folder. After updating the file there, the logo is still there, thats why I am curious why.
