If you have any news from PayPal regarding that issue (enabled both API methods), please update us. I'm sure some ZenCart users which also own another carts run on API certificate might find this information useful in the future in case PayPal enabled both API methods.

I have a little problem here..
in my PayPal profile, I click on API access
And then I have to chose between requesting an API or grant API permission.

I choose REQUEST API CREDENTIALS

And then i'm redirect to my profile with a note saying :

Please verify your account before requesting an API certificate.

Ok I'd like to verify my account, but where? and what?!?

In Instant Payment Notification Preferences, it says :


Instant Payment Notification (IPN) : ON
Instant Payment Notification (IPN) URL: https://www.mydomain.net/myshop/ipn_main_handler.php

So I suppose this is correct!?

I think this involves providing bank account information.

If you log into your account check the box at the top right of the page
I think it something like "enhance account"
