    Default deleting sidebox

    Hi there!

I add a sidebox, and don't like it... want to remove it... so, I just delete the files, but now, in my Layout Boxes Controller page I still see it with a warning about MISSING FILES

How can I remove the sidebox from there?

    thanks in advance...

    and Merry Xmas to all!!!!!

    Mi,
Double check the mod you dropped into your site..
There should be a sql file that added values to the database.

    1. you will edit the phpmyadmin, click database, find the table for layout boxes and delete them there

Easier way (so you won't have to mess with the database)

admin -> tools -> layout boxes controller.

click the edit button for the sidebox that has the missing files.

after clicking the edit button you should see a update button.

click the update button and then click the delete to confirm the delete.

    Hope this helps
