I'd start by first reloading all the files with FTP ... sometimes this happens when the files do not upload correctly, are skipped or otherwise corrupted by the FTP upload ...

How do I make sure I'm even typing in the correct address? Also, When you say reload, do you mean basically do the install over again? Laymens terms please hehe.![]()
To get the files to your server, you downloaded the Zen Cart v1.3.7 zip and unzipped it then uploaded the files to your server with an FTP program ...
Between now and then, you installed it ...
All you should need to do is reload the files via FTP to your site ...

You shouldn't have to run the install again. Just FTP the files to the server again and see if you can get into the admin afterwards.
Where did you install it? If you installed ZC in the root directory, the url should be http://www.yourdomain.com/admin/. If you installed ZC in a its own directory, the url should be http://www.yourdomain.com/zencart/admin/.
Does that help?
I have it under zencart/admin.
I also found this tutorial... https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=84
And this is what it says:
In most cases of difficulties logging in to the Admin area, the problem is one of:
1. Admin pages won't show at all, or show without styling.
In this case, try temporarily renaming the /admin/.htaccess file to htaccess_bak to see if things operate differently. If they do, then you need to work with your webhost to find the right way to use the supplied .htaccess security protections on your site.
2. Something may be wrong with the way your site is configured to handle PHP "sessions".
This is more difficult to resolve. Start by clearing your browser cache and clearing all cookies. Then check to be sure that you do NOT have any software firewall applications running on your PC, as they may have been set to "disable session cookies". Also, make sure your browser IS allowed to accept cookies, esp from your own domain. Check your server's errorlog to determine if any errors are occurring at the time of the failure to login.
3. The most common problem is not having the HTTPS address correct in the includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php
The file I have in red I can't find. Is this something normal. Also, some of my website images moved into the zencart images. Normal or no?
Alright I tried uploading again and came across an error with .htaccess . It says a file may not start with a "." Now what the heck am I suppose to do for a permanant fix?
If you are on a unix server ... you should check with your hosting site to see why you are not allowed to utilize the .htaccess files on your own domain ...
If you are on a windows server ... they do not recognize these files and you could configure you FTP program to skip these files when loading to the server ...

I'm officially upset. I reloaded everything and made sure everything transferred and still the same thing. Cant view the store nor my admin log in page.
If anyone would be willing to talk to me via any messenger that would be helpful. If not here's exactly what I have and what I use for my site.........
Yahoo Web Hosting
Paypal
Web address: www.papierdefleur.com
In the installation of Zen Cart it asks for a Virtual https server and virtual https path. I used what exactly it had autofilled because I couldnt find anything on yahoo website that stated what it could be. I called yahoo and they said they dont have a such thing as a https server. However, I find it hard to believe that NO one has been able to use zen cart with yahoo webhosting and paypal. I dont want to use yahoo's merchant account if possible. So far I havent been exactly pleased with them cause they never seem to have any worthwhile answers.
So I have a feeling this virtual https server may be my problem or at least one of my problems.
Another thing.... I guess i should make sure that zen cart can even offer what I need.
Heres what i need:
On a product page I need 6 drop down boxes to choose options with 1 of the drop downs altering the price and then i need a text box for the customer to type something. And then they can add to cart. I hope some of this helps someone help me. So is using zen cart even an option for me?
