Hi,

I have set the categories to be displayed on the main page on start-up.


q) I get a list of hardware subcategories only. I don't get the other categories of software/dvd etc. How can I get all the different categories to appear then link to the next level etc instead of starting with sub-category hardware on default install.

You have set "Categories - Always Show on Main Page" to true, and apparently you have also set "Main Page - Opens with Category" to a category id number (the hardware category).

Set that to 0 and it will show all the top categories on the home page.

ok, it doesn't look liie you can do much with the layout though with admin.

You're right, the limit of admin control on that page is choosing how many images across, and maybe one or two peripheral things plus the featured/all/new on/off/location.
