Database - mySQL index question

I was using phpMyAdmin to do some maintenance on my zencart db.

I noticed a warning on the table zen_configuration.
It says:

UNIQUE and INDEX keys should not both be set for column `configuration_key`

I am wondering this was done by design or do I have a problem to correct?
