add customer from admin contribution

hiya,
i have installed the add customers from admin contribution, and was wondering if anyone could tell me how to make some of the entries not required, eg: the address is not required but its saying i have to put in an entry.
any help you can give with this would be brill

I have installed the add customer from Admin contribution. I have tested it successfully for adding customers where I have the necessary information I would need to add a customer manually.

When I complete the process, the e-mail generated is very nice, and explains that I have manually added them into the system.

It then goes through the process of explaining a welcome coupon which is configured elsewhere in the admin console.

I wanted to also offer a small token of gratitude (a gift voucher) to welcome them aboard. When I activated this and tried adding a customer, the system errored out and failed to send the welcome email. It did add the customer into the database, however. But with no welcome e-mail, the customer would have no idea that they were being welcomed to my site.

I am using the latest version of zen cart. 1.37 (the latest available install on fantastico as of July 16 - 07.)

I am also using the newest version of the contribution.

I will try to elaborate on the error created below in hopes that someone can shed some light on this. Any help would be appreciated!

I did look into the original code for adding customers, and it appears that there is indeed a function called zen_create_coupon_code

Another tidbit that may be useful. If a customer goes into the site and self-registers, they receive the typical welcome message with both the welcome coupon and the welcome gift voucher. So I know that the registration process as installed works. It appears that the only hangup is in generating the voucher from the add customer from admin contribution.

its a pity that no-one has responded to this, because i am getting exactly thew same problem and as yet i have been unable to find a solution.

cjon316 - did you ever find a soluytion to your problem? Could you let us know what it was, if you did?
