Hi
Can anyone tell me or point me in the right direction, I want to add my own images, CCS, links etc just to the home page content area, (the top, sides, footer as fine).

Turn off the stuff you don't want to use from your Admin, then create your content with the define pages editor. Be sure to use the Template Override System.
