Free Shipping, but PayPal still adding it in

Our business has a PayPal account that has setup that automatically adds shipping in from another site (which it needs to).

However, I need to keep PayPal from adding that shipping amount to the ZenCart order (they are tickets to be picked up).

Any suggestions?

Do you find the same problem when using PayPal Express Checkout?

I haven't tried the Express Checkout, but will and see what happens.

Have you tried to set your paypal account to allow for item over rides?

Also, I recently discussed this with paypal so I wouldn't have to preset the shipping for every item.

He said it couldn't be done, BUT I could add another e-mail address to my paypal account and use it for just specific items. Sounds good, th draw back that if someone want item a and item b, they would have to buy them separately.

Setting up Express Checkout eliminated the problem, but now I'm having another one (error messages after clicking on Review Payment). I'm in the process of installing patches. HOpefully that will resolve the new problem.
