Problems Importing into phpMyAdmin

Ok. I threw away my "don't assume" mentality because it's not like the documentation is comprehensive anyway...lesson number one. So for those as slow as me, Easy Populate the model of the product is a mandatory field for the upload file. I typed "General" and it seemed to work...or at least, it got past that error. Now I don't really have an error but can't find my new product. Geesh. I'll probably kick myself again when I find out why but I've already used too much company time on my business website. If someone would kindly advise in the meantime, please do. My upload results:

The last message doesn't really bother me right now. I just can't find the bottom 2 records. The first 2 were already in my website. So how can I find the records I tried to add?

Then again...if you guys know a good place that has all the information regarding importing files (format, rules..etc) that would be great. Searching these forums is giving me a headache!

With this, it first is uploaded to a folder - have you then run the apply it to the DB step?

No. I thought that's it. I'm not familiar with the procedure. Can you please tell me how to do this? Oh...I am using the free version of Easy Populate just in case that makes a difference. I've read the readme.txt and no help there. I feel so close yet so far.

Perhaps you meant "insert into db" step(?) If so, yes, I selected my tab delimited file and clicked "insert into tab". I then got the upload results I got earlier which seemed to have worked because of of the "Updated!" message. If there is is a procedure to "apply to DB", then I don't know it. Please clarify what this is.
