Multiple images problem

Hello all, can anyone help?

I cannot get my multiple images to show, I only want 2 or 3 small images to show in the product information page.

I have read through the FAQ and a lot of other threads, followed all instructions, i.e. the naming of the images. I have checked that the additional images is switched on, both under configuration/images and catologue/product types and I have also followed the URL for the images and they are showing.

I'm not sure what else to check, if anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.

My image names are
CALVEUGC.jpg
CALVEUGC_01.jpg

Only 2 suggestions to try -

make sure that both images are in the default /images folder

try renaming the 1st additional as CALVEUGC_1.jpg

See if that helps at all

Have changed the name as suggested but this has made no difference.

Any other suggestions?

Also make sure that you have the Additional Images turned on:
Catalog ... Product Type ... Edit Layout ...

Show Product Additional Images
Display Additional Images on Product Info 0= off 1= on

Thank you, I did read through that one yesterday, but didn't help, I also changed the product type but that didn't make any difference!

Could this be a template problem? if so, any ideas of how I fix the problem.

Also some threads have said to clear the cache, I don't know how to do this, could anyone advise on that as well?

Do you have an URL to a Product that has a problem with images?

What is the base image directory and filename?

What is the addtional image directory and filename?

images are called:-
CALVEUGC.jpg
CALVEUGC_01.jpg

Both are in the main images directory

Can you switch to the Classic Template and see if the images work?

I am assuming that you did check the setting on the Product Types to make sure Additional Images are turned on ...

I get a fatal error when switching to classic, I am unable to see the the images
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in includes/classes/category_tree.php on line 68

Yes I have checked that the additional images is switched on in the product types.
