Multiple images problem

You might want to get something like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com and see if you have files out of date or with missing code ...

I cannot reproduce this issue and I have no problem with those image names on my test site ...

So, this leads me to believe it is your template or out of date code ...

Getting that error message with Classic tends to impress upon me that there are issues on your site that need to be cleaned up ...

As advised I downloaded beyond compare, I have checked alot of of files but have found no code incorrect or missing. Which files need to be checked? just in case I have missed 1 essential file!!

I have downloaded another copy of zen cart to use as a test, and on this one the additional images work ok.

Could anyone advise on how to clear the cache? I will try doing this as well

In addition to the above last reply I also meant to say that the template version I am using is 1.3.6 and the zen cart installation version is 1.3.7, would this make a difference??

Anything is possible ...

Compare your template files to the template_default files ...

Compare any custom modules to the originals ...

You also have spaces in your directory names ... this is really not a good idea ...

Avoid spaces, special characters and the like on filenames ...

I have also a problem with displaying additional images per product, I have followed the faq and made sure I had everything ok, however I am still unable to see additional images.

I reloaded zen 1.3.7 over, just incase I had screwed a file somewhere but still no joy, this happens with classic template and apple_zen.

I have only installed IH2 to the site could this be the problem>?

Also checked Catalog>Product Types>Edit Layouts additional Images are set on.

What are the image names and directories for products_id 184?

I seem to have fixed it, or foxed it lol, I used IH2 in admin selected additional large images to display additional images in product info, dunno if this is what IH does default to the normall additional images, but nvm it now works

I have:

images/krug.jpg
images/medium/krug_MED.jpg
images/medium/krug_LRG.jpg

but also put

images/krug_01.jpg
images/medium/krug_01_MED.jpg
images/medium/krug_01_LRG.jpg

I got in the end very confused, and stumbled on IH in admin and ding sorted.

NOTE: there is only 1 _MED file for the display on the Product _info page ... there are not additional _MED files

Peek again at the calico cat example that I gave you to see how these files work ...
