red flag Setting Up IPN with PayPal

    Hello,

I am opening a new PayPal Website Payments Pro account and before I can complete the set up I have to decide which of the following to do. Please help me as I am not sure which option I need...

    Grant API Permission
Select this option if you have been instructed by your shopping cart or solution provider to grant them permission to make API calls on your behalf.

    Request API Credentials
Select this option if your website will make API calls directly or if your shopping cart or solution provider requires you to use your own API credentials.

Any help would be greatly appreciated here... as I want to be sure that this is set up correctly.

    Correction.
Website Payments Pro support is not yet complete in v1.3.7 or prior versions.
Stay tuned for an update in the near future.

If you are using PayPal Express Checkout in v1.3.7, you would choose Request API Credentials, and then obtain an API Signature set of credentials.
Sorry, in v1.3.6 you only have access to Website Payments Standard (ie: PayPal IPN)

    DrByte,
Music to my ears. Paypal WPP is the last major integration feature I wanted before I launched my webstore (we've been strictly an ebay store so far.)

As a new user to the ZenCart community, I chose ZenCart because of the active community and solid development. (Your interview with the Paypal folks was also pretty neat to listen to.) I would much more happily donate to this effort than purchase creloaded! And hope others do the same to support the effort and allow for the continued improvement and development of Zencart!

Keep up the good work guys! Your efforts are greatly appreciated!

    Kind regards,
    -Ed
