Where do I remove the centerbox? ... CSS Buttons overlap...

Two pretty simple questions that I honestly, after scouring my files, havent been able to accomplish.

My CSS buttons overlap my images on product page. Annoying! How do I keep it from doing this? I looked everywhere for a solution... can't find one rightly.

Second... I do not want any centerbox. I want to be able to create images that say it all "sale... blah blah whatever" much fancier in style then the centerbox. How do I make these things go away (I pushed a few buttons in my config section I thought would work, but they didn't do anything.)

Okay well figured out the centerbox thing. For some reason no good results came up the first time I searched on here, but then I found appropriate results.

I am thinking I should be able to alter the overlay of the buttons with CSS so I will take a look in there, don't know why I didnt think of that before. If anyone knows though, let me know.
