shipping different $ for each additional item

Hello all...need some help with shipping options.

I want to have a flat rate of $15 for the first item (already done).

Then I want to add $3 for each additional item added to teh cart.

Can someone help!

Item Shipping Module ...

Handling 12.00
Per Item 3.00

Item 1 = 12.00 + 3.00 = $15.00
Item 2 = 3.00

Voila ...

From your answer I thought this would be soooo simple. But I think I am not seeing something.

I get the concept...but I am not sure where to do this. I know where the Shipping Module is, but not sure of the handling field. Can you please explain a bit more.

Go to Modules ... Shipping ...

Install Per Item item Shipping Module ...

Configure it to read:

Shipping Cost
The shipping cost will be multiplied by the number of items in an order that uses this shipping method.
3.00

Handling Fee
Handling fee for this shipping method.
12.00

Click Update ...

Voila you now have 1st Product is $15.00 shipping and each additional is $3.00 ...
