Adding Product Color Swatches

Good evening Zenners.
I'm trying to add color swatch images for certain products.
For example: I have a product called "gloves" and the image is that of a black glove. Below the black glove image I'ld like to have images showng the other colors that the same glove is available in.
Is this possible? (rather than have a pulldown menu of color attributes?) If so please, please advise on how to do it.(cant find it anywhere!)

Also could the viewer say just click on the green swatch and the details of the green gloves pop up?

Maybe the last one is ambitious but.....!! Thank you and very much looking forward to any info.

Oh yes! This is great Misty Thank you. The attached shows exactly what i would like to have.
Is there anywhere that explains how to do this. I cannot find this anywhere in the literature or FAQs. I have read https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=57 many, many times and still cant work it out. Appreciate any guidance you may provide on this. Thanks so much.

Download latest zencart 1.37 files, install AS AN EXTRA CART
to your existing one.. when you install this extra/new cart,
there is an option to install demo products...take that option..
demo products include swatches product so you will be able to
achieve your requirements..

Thanks for this Misty. How can i use this 2nd cart from the first, already customised cart? or Do you mean that once i install the 2nd Cart i have to move all my customised files over to it, as if i were doing a version upgrade? Looking forward to your advice, Thank you very much again.

You use the 2nd cart for REFERENCE purposes only..to show you
how to configure swatches, which are pre-installed and configured,
IF on installing 2nd Cart, you choose to install demo products...

I wish that someone would explain how to do this besides installing a new cart. Not being rude, but that takes making a new database and uploading all the core files.

The ability is built in to Zencart, but you have to name your image files properly.

Adding a second Zencart installation in a subdirectory, with its own database, with the demo products, doesn't take that long, and is a good way to figure some of this stuff out.
