Easy populate has lost it's mind

ok... i have broken the files down. to 20 items per line and split.. dont ask... long story.. keeps timing out even from temp fold... ok so i can upload my problem is it is not taking everything from the file.. i get this

I dont know why it is updating NEW products... and the new products... most dont even upload..... now when i finally got it to work the very first time... it uploaded 7 pages for me.. fine.. no problem... now... nothing but problems...

the skipped model thing at the bottem appears to be extra cells from excel....

is it possible there is something like a space or a symbol that is causing only some of the items to make it.. and why is it saying updated on brand new items......????


any help is desperately appreciated.... thanks in advance...

quick update.... i tried to update 238 items.. it only took 75..... same templates.... everything.. i created to files just in case they got corrupted... i dont have any ideas what else to do... thanks in advance....

OK;.... now i am seeing that it is loading items into multiple catigories... even tho on the file it only has one.. and it is still loading less than half the files... of course... it could be loading them all somewhere... i cant see..... *sigh* this is becoming more work than its worth.... again.. your help is appreciated.. thanks.

Are you providing a model_name for each product you are adding/updating? It appears from the previous post that the model is missing??

I read a previous Forum post about people having problems with Excel and large Tables. It was recommended to instead, use OpenOffice or CSVed. Might help overcome some of your problems.

check your item product model id if they are the same OR yo dont have any this is what you will get... i learned eventually but since i saw that no one responded i didnt..... every item you upload needs a unique product model or you will get this error... hope that helps......
