duplicating attributes...

Hey all. So here's the problem I've got...

I run a after market car-performance website. So its organized into make-model-year-type of product. But many of the different models/years have the SAME product. Different prices usually, but the same attributes (zebrano wood (+10), aluminum, carbon fiber) you get the idea...

I want to be able to just... duplicated the whole thing very quickly and easily. Mind you, my database is 35,000 products, so its BIG.

How can I best do this without taking a lot a lot of time?

P.S. Is there any way to do this in say... Easy Populate? I know you can download attributes, but last time I tried that it ... didn't actually do anything at all.

I believe that the commercial version of EP should be able to achieve that, although I've never really got into that side of it.

You can of course copy attributes to all products in a category

Yeah. Unfortunately the products in the category differ slightly (aluminum dash trims, vinyl dash trims.... etc). It's a frusterating thing but it would be rediculous to do it any other way.
