    Default Shared SSL, admin and HTML problems

    Hi all!

    I just activated a shared ssl for the admin, but im having troubles..

    First when i log in i cannot click any link without logging out, then i tried changing the http-adress in the configure.php to the same as the https-adress.

    That helped so that the admin works fine, except for that no HTML-editors exist anymore.

    anyone with an idea?

    thanks!

    Call your Host.

    Does your admin/configure file look like this?

    define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://site.com');
    define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://site.com');
    define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://site.com');
    define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://site.com');

    // Use secure webserver for catalog module and/or admin areas?
    define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'true');
    define('ENABLE_SSL_ADMIN', 'true');
    Cheers!

    It looks like that except for that the https-adress looks completely different cause of being a shared certificate.

    The adress works though, because i can log in with https, for some reason setting enable https to true makes http impossible, and therefore i get logged out from admin when clicking any link.

    And when i set define HTTP_SERVER and define HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER to the same HTTPS-adress i wan browse admin and every page is https, just that no HTML-editors is visible, neither in "define pages" nor for products.

    I sent my host an e-mail and the answer was: "No idea, ask on Zen Cart forum, thats the best place to get answers for that"

    So anyone else with an idea why my zencart disables HTML-editors when in ssl-mode??

    Please show us a link to your site. Let's see if the SSL kicks in.

    http://www.dammbutiken.se/

    Like i said, https does work, in the mainpage the site works well too, except for a creditcard module that got error.

    Anyone know anything related to the Admin-problem?

    Did you remove the links on the Slut i Lager (In Stock?) buttons?

    Only the Add to Cart or Lagg i Kondkorg works to add to cart on the pages that button is there.

    Nice site. I have a Turtle pond. Wish you were closer.

    Slut i lager = Not in stock
    So thats why theres no add to cart on those, dont want to take orders for things not in stock.

    I suppose you did not see no ssl cause i disabled it again.. The ugly url of my shared cert bugs me, might have to go with my own if i can resolve the admin trouble.

    Glad you liked the site :) And nice to hear you have a pond aswell :)
