Images As Buttons

I was wondering how I would use images for buttons, say for categories or for the ez-pages buttons. I am pretty sure it can be done because I think I've seen it on some other peoples sites. I wouldn't want any text where the buttons would be, the text would be in the images. Any way to do this? Maybe if someone could just link to a post that already answered or anything. Thanks ahead of time.

For categories or ezPages you would require some custom coding or simple hard coding to use images for the links.

Great, that is what I figured I would have to do. How do I go about doing that? I'd like to edit the buttons for the ez-pages, forget about the categories. Where are the files located for the ez-pages?

I would like to know this too as I am working on a new site this month that requires "button" type images where the ezpages will reside as the navigational requirement of this particular site.
