I'm not using a sidebox menu in my shop but only a header menu with categories.
Unfortunately the subcategories do not show on the main page after selecting a category. I can't figure out why not.
Who has dealt with this issue before or can point me into the right direction ?

Got it up and running,
I installed the Column Layout Grid module and set
in Configuration / Product Listing / Show SubCategories on Main Page while navigating to 1 (On)
In Configuration / Layout Settings I set Categories - Always Show on Main Page
to 0 (Off).
