help removing "sales message goes here"

Ive just installed the zen cart programme, and am having troubles learning how to customise the settings, I have read through other threads with the same question I have asked, but i still dont understand how to do it. Where is includes/language/english/header, and what are php files, and also how do I back up my work. Thanks

As you will want to edit more files in the future, I can tell you how to find these and other text you may wish to edit.

Go to Admin/Tools/Developer Tool Kit and do a search for the text you wish to change like "sales message goes here" in the "Look-up in all files" box at the bottom.

You will receive a list of files that contain the searched for text, so you can edit them as you need.

You need to unzip the download onto your local drive. Use a program like WinZip to do so. Once you do that, you'll see the directory structure the tutorials/FAQ and forum mention. Create the folders and copy the files I posted about earlier and make your changes in the copies. Use an FTP client like Filezilla to upload to your website.

DO NOT use the editor included in your webmaster panel to edit files. It will cause no end of problems. Edit the files locally using a text editor like Notepad, Textpad or Crimson Editor.
