Easy Populate and REPLACING full database

Latest EP (v1.2.5.4) and Zen (1.3.7)

Successfully uploading items but..

I'm working with my 6,000 or so item Filemaker database and want to use Easy Populate to upload and always replace EVERYTHING.

All changes, sales (item gets removed from database), etc. happen in Filemaker so I just want to export and upload when I need to and avoid as much inside Zen work with items as possible.

Obviously because of the ever changing and large database I need a full replacement everytime.

I've gotten an upload to work just fine with adding categories but doesn't seem to remove anything if I eliminate it from the upload file (i.e. item is gone/sold).

I see bits and pieces from various postings but always seems to trail off to another subject and I can't find the answer though it appears that this should happen automatically based on snippets I see.

I've made no edits to the EP files and they are as dowloaded right now.

Though I can usually catch on, treat me like a newbie please and speak slowly!

Ok, now I don't think I want this because of the way Zen works with orders and their respective items.

Any other choice but leaving the sold, and therefore, disabled items in the database?

Kind of looks like you either
1. delete the customer order and the sold item(s) or
2. leave them both in.

The first option isn't great because you lose the history (though I would have that offline in Filemaker).

The second option seems like things would get huge and hard to manage over time.

Any suggestions out there?
