category page - how to add more text after the images

I have a long category description -
we want to move the pictures up - after only about a paragraph of the description - and then put the rest of the description.

Is there any way to do this?

I don't think it'd be a question of changing the template (and which would that be, anyway?) because I don't want the images first... I want the images either in the middle of the description, (which prob. isn't the possible way to do it) or to reduce the description, but add new info after the images?

The product description page is cobbled together from a variety of php files and dbase info.

Additional images will always appear under the main description and are displayed according to the image naming conventions in zen (how zen recognises if additional images are relevant to the product being displayed). See other threads on this topic.

It's not possible to "split" the description text, insert additional images, then "continue" with more description text.

What you can do is hard-code <img src> HTML references into your description text, but you will have to customise each product.

I beg to differ. I managed to do it.

And I also edited easy populate to import/export the new fields, too.

I believe the OP was about the listing page (or possibly subcategory page), not the product info page.

But I expect your method could be adapted to that case as well, as could the CSS method.
