Calm down guys... Kappaluppa is obviously still around and intends to release the module soon. I too was a bit worried having had no news on the module for so long, but Kappaluppa's posts confirm that all we need is a bit more patience...

Assuming nothing unexpected happens, the world will soon be able to sell apparel and t-shirts (note the plural) via Zen-Cart! A major breakthrough for all of us unfortunate enough to be stuck in this horribly complicated industry.

My main concerns at this point are for stability and functionality. If it's stable, can be easily customized for hundreds of individual products, can allow unique prices to be set for each field, and does not screw up product attributes, I'll be beyond ecstatic. If not, then hopefully we'll at least have a good base to build upon.

Also it would be nice to know what category and the name of this new module will be so it can be easily found in the download area. Since you have chosen to make it completely separate from the original download from Greg Neal (which was just useless screenshots).

I probably speak for a lot of out here that we are really super excited to get our hands on this module. Let us know where we can make donations too!

I think "really super excited" pretty much sums up my feelings exactly. I check this thread a several times daily to see if there have been any updates. When it finally does get released, it's either going to be one the greatest moments in Zen-Cart history, or a hugely depressing letdown.

Due to the complexities involved in making such a module user-friendly, I think it could easily go either way. Hopefully we'll all find out soon (before the end of the year would be great!) and can, for better or worse, put an end to our anxiety.

I've contact the developer on this module again and asked him to release it. He will be supporting it, so I need to let him do it. Apparently, he has written many modules so wasn't sure which one I was referring to when I asked him to release it. So, now that I've let him know, I'm sure it will be soon.

He wrote another REALLY REALLY cool mod for us which is a comparison module. It allows you to choose several items and do a side by side comparison with many options. We already have it use in a beta project. He'll release that one soon too.

Is there any way the Developer can come on this thread and let us know where the module has been released and what name is he has it in the downloads section.

And I know I speak for a lot of us out there we really would like to have this module today. You said on the 17 November that the developer was making it a download. Has he put it on another site or something because that seems like a long time for an upload??

Can you give us a clue where we can find the download, anything????

I just am so excited to get my hands on this module, sorry if I am sounding pushy, that is not my intention; I just really want this module on my site.
