    Default Additional form

I need to create a page in my Zen Cart website which will operate similar to the Contact page. It needs to collect information in a (customised) form and email the results.

Is there a quick way to do this?

I want to keep the 'Contact Us' page but essentially I want another such page to collect a different collection of information.

There isn't a way to generate a new form within the ZenCart framework. The form would need to be created by hand.

If you need this form to only send you an email (and not store the info to a database) that makes creating this form easier. The best way to go about setting up such a form (if you have no PHP knowledge) would be to use a free service such as Bravenet.com that will generate the code for you - though they will require a link back. Then create a new EZ Page, toggle HTML view and paste the code into that. I've never tried it, but I don't see why it would not work.

The other option would be to learn PHP, or hire a programmer, who can give you custom code to drop into an EZ page.

I've created a form using FormLogix (free service) and pasted the code into an EZ Page. It works well, with an email being sent to me and a copy to the person submitting the form, but I cannot mark the EZ Page as SSL.

I ended up concluding that although there is a simple contact form which come with ZenCart, there is no easy way to reproduce the functionality of this form in another. I, also, developed a form (using my usual formail script) externally and pasted the form code into an E-Z page. It works fine.
