Problems customizing Red Passion template

Hi. Thanks in advance for anyone who can offer some insight for me here.

I'm running v1.3.7, with the new Red Passion template. The URL is http://www.360blades.com. I'm stuck on my attempts to do two things:

1) I want to remove the categories and background link that appear in gray above the Red Passion logo. I'd actually like to remove everything altogether and make the logo begin at the very top of the page.

2) My custom logo will not be as high. I have tried to change the overall height of the logo wrapper with very ugly results. How can I do this?

they know your here bro, imagine how extremly busy these people are.... Do you just want the categories gone from the top of the page?? the ones in the gray text

Those links are controlled in your stylesheet:

The logo size is controlled in includes/languages/english/YOUR_TEMPLATE/header.php

Yeah, things can fall through the cracks. Sometimes if a post doesn't get an answer, the best thing to do is explain the problem/situation further if you can. Sometimes a request is a little too vague. Not saying your's was, just saying it's a better approach than posting "bump" or something like that.
