Would this work?

Just for the sake of argument...I been reading the paypal express mod, there are so many errors and faults. Would it be possible for me to add paypal buttons to my site? Would this work?

With v1.3.7 be sure to install the latest PayPal Patch correctly that is located at:

Re: Would this work?

Then as Merlin suggested you are missing files and are probably not installing the PayPal Patch correctly either ...

Re: Would this work?

First, go to the Tools ... Server Info ...

Paste what you see from just below the menubar up to and including the large PHP Version line ...

Next ...

Backup your site and database ...

Get a clean Zen Cart v1.3.7 from our Download link at the top of your screen ...

If you have used the templates and overrides correctly, you can just FTP all of the files to your site ...

Then get the latest PayPal Patch at:
http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56216

And up load that to your site ...

Re: Would this work?

Could you tell us what the Server Info reads currently?

Upgrading does not destroy your database unless you INSTALL vs UPGRADE DATABASE ...

Also, that is why you BACKUP your website and database BEFORE you attempt to do an upgrade or fix issues like what you are having ...

You can also post in the Commercial Help Wanted for someone to upgrade your site properly ...

Re: Would this work?

I would venture to guess that you have numerous things wrong with your site and are missing numerous files or have corrupt files on your site ...

If you don't know how to perform an upgrade it would really save you hours of lost time and hair to have a professional do this for you ...

Your site appears to have problems ... you have been trying for how many days to fix it?

Now you have missing files in addition to what ever other problems might exist ...

Re: Would this work?

Then go outside and have a smoke ... breath some clean air for a bit ... and then reinstall the PayPal Patch which will put the file back in there ...
