Any Way To Add Options To Product?

Was Wondering if there is any way to Add some kind of text or configurable fields.
I would like for someone to be able to specify Year Make & Model While looking At the Product that they want to buy. This is so we can get them the correct Product for their application. When they say add to cart & and they check out I need that Info to "Automagically" come through in The Order.
