Shipping costs per item help needed

Hi there. Hopefully this is really simple but i haven't had time to find out the answer yet. basically we want to charge one postage rate for 1-3 items, another charge for 4-9 items and another for 10+ items. i don't think i need to change the per unit module so maybe its something simple within the per item module.

You might look at the Table Shipping module where you can set the shipping based on number of Items and get specific in the method that you have defined ...

Is the Table shipping module an extra that needs downloading and if so is it free ?

If you look in your Admin ... Modules ... Shipping ...

you will see all of the Shipping Modules that come with Zen Cart ...

One is called:
Table Rate table

Install it and configure it for Item ...
