Hi, I have a product with a fixed $9 set-up charge, and then a price of $0.50 per "invitee". I'm basically trying to duplicate the pricing model found here...
http://www.lifeonrecord.com/pricing.htm
I've played around with this quite a bit, and the best way I came up with to deal with this was to create an attribute with one value, where I specified a one-time price of $9. The result can be found in the "LifeOnRecord Events" product found here....
http://lifeonrecord.com/cart/index.p...=index&cPath=4
However, I'd like to be able to have the "Add" (quantity) box appear on the product listing page for the category so the person doesn't have to click through to the product page itself (since there is nothing they need to choose there). Also, if there's an easy way, I'd like to have the $9 set-up charge appear on the product listing page itself (similar to how fixed charges appear on their own line in the shopping cart).
Finally, on the product detail page, I wanted to suppress the line that said, "* One time charges may apply".
I've tried to suppress the line by deleting the product, and then went to the Admin/Catalog/Priduct Types/"Product Type Info Page Layout options :: Product - General" page and turned the switch off that said "Show Starting At text on Price". I then re-added the product, but that didn't suppress the line. Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong or how I can do that?
I know that instead of doing it this way, I can just have an attribute that lists the number of invitees in a dropdown, but the number could be anything, and I'd like to leverage the quantity box if I could.
Thanks in advance!!!!
