USPS new rates May

FYI...it seems to be working fine for me, for the most part. We're running 1.3.7 and followed the instructions as previously outlined.

The shipping classes we have enabled are:

Domestic Shipping Methods
Express, Priority, First Class, Parcel

International Shipping Methods
Global Express, Express Mail Int, Priority Mail Int, First-Class Mail Int

However, I do NOT see the Global Express or Express Mail option pop up on my international orders. I have tried a couple of different addresses (Taiwan and Canada) and I only get the Priority Mail International and First Class Mail International option.

i posted the fix for this a few hours ago. look in this thread, on page 7

hopefully some admin can take care of this at their convenience :)

I called USPS last night. They agree there is no API update on there site. And they would give me nothing over the phone. I asked who I need to call for this info. the answer was basically "don't call us, we will call you". They took my email address. And that was it.

3. If you turn on debug logging, what's appearing in the emails you receive?

4. What is the destination address of the customer you're testing with? And your zip code shipping from?

I just plugged this into a fresh install with the latest USPS module update (posted a couple minutes ago), and I get all 9 services returned. My test product was 0.2 lbs.

I started by installing USPS_patch_may14-2007a. I modified it as per instructions in order to install on a 1.2.x version of the cart. Everything tested out OK.

I uploaded and overwrote ver A with USPS_patch_may14-2007b after modifying it to run on 1.2.x cart.

I removed and reinstalled the module in admin/modules/shipping

I updated my settings in edit and updated.

I noticed the yellow banner at the top of the screen saying:
Shipping Configuration errors!
Warning: USPS is either missing the username and/or password, or ... it is set to TEST rather than PRODUCTION and will not work
If you still cannot retrieve quotes, contact USPS and activate your live account

I logged out and logged back in as admin. Same error under admin/module/shipping.

I logged in as a customer and tested.

I received estimates and quotes for both domestic and international addresses as expected.

Since everything is working properly, do I ignore it?

You have an old version of Zen Cart or old code left in your admin to warn you about the password that is no longer required for USPS ...

Solution: ignore it ...
