Can't get into ADMIN, HELP!

Ok, I have been having problems with my orders not showing up in the orders from Paypal. So, I got a payment in, but no corresponding order sent to my email. So I go to the internet (where i had been logged in earlier) and click on the admin home page. Only it just sits there and doesn't respond. So I open a new window, and type in my address to my admin, i get the login screen, type my password, and it comes up with this error:

2013 Lost connection to MySQL server during query
in:
[select * from coupon_gv_queue where release_flag='N']
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

The funny thing is, I was able to go back in my history on my browser, and get into the orders, products and everything else in the admin, but I can not get to the admin main page AT ALL. Now, I'm afraid to close out my browser, becuase id I do, I won't be able to get in.

Any clues as to what got mess up in the system to cuase this?

Any chance you're on a Godaddy server?

well, i'm not convinced yet that the godaddy mysql server is a factor, but meantime, I was getting the "admin log older than 2 months" message as of today and through checking it out, discovered that I can get to the /admin/store_manager.php page and through that, the rest of the store and now just not the admin home.
keep trying.
