    Default Centere'd isn't quite centered.

In an attempt to center my site in any browser I've added align: center to the body tag of stylesheet.css.

However if you take a look at the site, http://birdoasis.com you'll see that it hangs off to the left.

Now I don't think this is a political statement on my site's part, but I was wondering if anyone has an idea of how to get my site back on the fence...so to speak.

    John-

A couple of things- Put the width of the shop in the main container - #mainWrapper instead of the body. Then remove the align: center (not valid CSS) and instead use margin:auto in the #mainWrapper.

Just a quick note about your site. Your text links (the ones in the content text) are given a dark green background on rollover, but the text itself remains blue, so it's hard to read. Why not chnage the text to white on rollover so it stands out -- and it'll match the links in your header too.

    Just a thought.

    Thanks Kim, I'll try that.

rstevenson, thanks for that. I'm aware of it, and am working to convince my wife to stop just copying from ebay into the dad gum editor. But I will be changing it.

I would like you to consider changing your profile photo. Now I want a donunt. HAHA.

    rstevenson,

I'll be happy to be a bata taster for any future products with holes in the middle.

I finally got a chance to work on this a bit.

Kim's suggestion of using margin: auto turned out not to be necessary since the problem was due to my having the width defined in the body tag.

So the lesson is not to place the width size in the body tag. Any width changes should be done in the mainwrapper.

    Very cool!
