Need help badly, I'm confused!

Is there any way to EASILY set up a store for downloads only? All my products are zip files (appox. 200 products). Do I still need to set up shipping zones and tax rates if I don't use them?
My payment method is set up for paypal express (API). I'm positive I set that up right, I think.
I've tried numerous ways to achieve this with no luck. I'm a bit confused as what I should be using for attributes, too! For regular products I'm sure I could figure it out, well except for the whole shipping thing, like setting up the zones and tax rates for places I wouldn't be taxing.
If someone could help me out here I would be very appreciative. I'm usually good at figuring stuff like this out, but after 2 days of banging into walls, well I give up!

O.K. I think I'm making progress now . after 2 days of messing around it came down to updating the paypal files! Guess I missed any posts that told me to do this . Well if anyone else can't figure out why there downloads aren't working through paypal correctly (mine didn't even open up a paypal website) try installing the paypal patches they have listed on this forum, do a search for paypal and you should be able to locate them.
I do have a question though. I only used the second update (patch), should I use all the updates? And how do I go about doing that? Do I manually have to patch these files or do all the new files include what is in all the older patches, or is each one for a different thing?
Anyways these past days did come with learning the structure of the zencart, I feel zenducated
