    Default Permissions for HTML_Includes folder

    Hello,

When I make the following change to the HTML_Includes folder and then navigate to my /store/ link the middle section of my store disappears. This includes all my new products, etc. How do I apply the following security measure?

    B. Make them CHMOD 644 (or “read-only” for Windows hosts). See notes above on CHMOD. /includes/languages/english/html_includes – and all files/folders underneath

On some hosts it would seem that you need to set the files to at least 645 and the folders to at least 745
