red flag Define Pages - how to use wisely ?

I'm trying to insert a new page in the Information sidebox entitled Principles of Operation. I have created a define page in the admin entitled Principles (define_principles.php). I have edited the information.php in the includes\modules\sideboxes\HR\ directory.

This causes the link to appear in the information sidebox, but the link is dead and I get a 404 error.

While I can use EZ pages to create various pages, I can't seem to control WHICH box they appear in. Ultimately, i guess I'm just confused about the difference between EZ Pages and Define_Pages.

    HELP!

Define pages are more for pages like main page, and other pages integral to the shopping cart.

Ez-pages are more for added content that aren't usually part of the cart.

All ez pages will show in the ezpages directory box, but you can have them show up in other places like the footer, table of contents which shows up on other ez pages, and header.

My goal is two have two separate information boxes - 1 for our company informatino (i.e., shipping, returns, etc.). The second would be "Helpful Information" like general information about jewelry, pearls, birthstones, etc.).

If you look at the site, you can see that I've managed to rename sideboxes accordingly (Hawk's Rest Information & Helpful Information). My goal is for Hawk's Rest Information to contain company-specific items, and Helpful Information to contain "general" information.

It seems that the Helpful Information box is populated by EZ Pages, and the Hawk's Rest Information is populated by Define_pages. Obviously, I'm confused, but I just need help in utilizing the appropriate tool and managing it.

Any clarification you can provide is GREATLY appreciated.
